But those days have gone now. 

Now, the IRCTC has started e-ticketing service. The customers need to click the mouse to book train tickets. Customers can also cancel their tickets in a few clicks. They take a print out of their travel tickets. Most importantly it has curbed the role of ticket agents who used to charge you exorbitantly to book a ticket.

It has installed several food stalls for passengers at numerous stations.

To operate a large system, it is required to ensure the customer satisfaction and services.
